Pei.ramids artwork, inspired by The National Gallery of Art, Washington DC

This multilayered art piece is inspired by one of the most iconic art museums in DC, The National Gallery of Art; East Building designed by Architect I. M. Pei.

The building geometry is composed of two large triangular forms, spliced and then reconnected by an expansive triangular atrium. Hovering above the atrium is a dramatic skylight, segmented into a series of repeating glass pyramids, casting playful geometric shadows on the atrium and artwork below.

Layers of unfinished Birch Plywood

Dimensions:

8.5" width, 11.5" height, 5/8" thick

Care:

Ready to hang. Plywood is unfinished.  Avoid any contact with water or oils as the wood is susceptible to staining.
